There is a plaque at the cemetery’s church, installed in 1986, with the following inscription:

In 1906, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church was organized. Charter members were August Lange, Rudolph Koehler, John Stange, Henry Stange, Michael Hoffman, William Hoffman, William Winkelmann, and Herman Schnell.

Rudolph Koehler donated the land for the church and cemetery. A small granary first served as a church in 1909. A larger church was built at this location and was used until 1949. On September 4, 1949, a new church was dedicated in Claresholm.

This plaque is dedicated to the memory of those who faithfully served our Lord.
