Memories: Yours & Mine
The Alberta communities of Beveridge Lake, East View, Garrett, Hesketh, Humbolt, Kirby, Lenox, Marne, and Webbs have rich histories tied to early settlement, agriculture, and education. The Hesketh Pope Lease Historical Committee gathered records and photographs related to these areas, which were later compiled into the book Memories, Yours and Mine: A History of Beveridge Lake, East View, Garrett, Hesketh, Humbolt, Kirby, Lenox, Marne, Webbs School Districts. This book, published in 1972, provides detailed accounts of the people, farming practices, and land agreements that shaped these communities.
