Beazer is a hamlet on Secondary Highway 501, approximately 80 kilometers southwest of Lethbridge.

In 1889, Mark E. Beazer (1854-1937), a shepherd from Utah, travelled by covered wagon with his wife Ellen and their children to southern Alberta. Beazer homesteaded west of Cardston in 1893 and later opened a post office that became the centre of a new hamlet. Both Mark and Ellen were active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and Mark served as the local Bishop. The Beazers retired to Cardston in 1925.
