The Faith Union Cemetery Company was registered by the Province of Alberta on August 26, 1915. George Bittorf was elected the president; James Sergeant was the first secretary and the treasurer was N.A. Bittorf. The following were elected as directors: M.W. Peters, W.A. Carte, J.K. Hetherington, George Sergeant, C.R. Cooper, W.G. Smith, R.J. Cooper, and Andrew Norling.

The capital stock of the Company was $100. Shares or lots were sold at two dollars apiece. The Company held their meetings at the Faith School House, some of which were held by candlelight.

According to their minutes W.G. Smith and C. VonWald had both offered the Company land to use as a site but they could not decide which land was best suited. After many motions and votes they

finally decided upon the N.W. 13-4-9-4, the Von Wald site.

On March 30, 1916, R. J. Cooper, W. Peters, N. Bittorf and Carl Von Wald surveyed the site and in return for their labour they each received one stock worth two dollars. W. Peters was appointed as caretaker of the cemetery.

In 1917, the lots were sold for three dollars apiece and a fence was erected around the site. The secretary of the Company was to receive five dollars for his work. July 8, 1918 found the Faith Union Cemetery Company one hundred and one dollars and twenty-five cents in debt. They decided to levy an assessment on each stockholder in the amount of one dollar and sixty cents, which was to be considered a loan to the Company. This assessment was not cancelled until the last recorded Annual Meeting of the Company dated May 31, 1924.
