Cremona is a village in southern Alberta, Canada. It is located north of Cochrane and west of Carstairs, along the Cowboy Trail (Highway 22). In terms of industry, Aurora Cannabis operates a medical marijuana growing and processing facility in Cremona. Cremona Community Cemetery
In addition to the relatively new Cremona Community Cemetery (established 2005), the Village of Cremona operates another older cemetery. This other cemetery was established in 1936 and is nearing capacity, hence the need for the newer cemetery. Interment options at the new Cremona Community Cemetery include traditional plots, cremation plots, and memorial wall markers. As of August 2022, Cremona Community Cemetery had 71 interments.
